Directors and Management
Peter has over 30 years’ experience as a director of listed companies focused in the resources sector. Previously Chairman of Extract Resources (ASX: EXT) Mr Meagher played a key role in the development of the company’s projects in neighbouring Namibia prior to being acquired by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group in 2012 at a valuation of over A$2.1bn.
Peter has been involved in several private and public companies, assisting junior explorers at varying development stages including Oklo Resources and White Star Resources and is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of Castillo Copper Limited.
Peter holds a Commerce/Economics degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Certified Practising Accountant.
Grant has significant African and country experience in his over twenty-three years’ in mining, exploration and development roles encompassing a number of Australian mining and energy executive directorships in public and private companies. Grant’s experience includes precious and base metals, bulk commodities (coal & iron ore) and renewable energy projects across Australia, Africa, Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East. Grant has total project experience, from proof of concept, exploration, scoping/pre-feasibility/feasibility studies, Initial Public Offering (IPO) through to EPCM and operations.
Grant is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG), Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).
Shannon holds a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University and has over 20 years’ experience in corporate law and compliance. Ms Coates is a Chartered Secretary and currently acts as company secretary to several ASX listed companies.
Shannon is also currently non-executive director of ASX listed Vmoto Limited.
Simon is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in the mining sector. He was most recently the Managing Director and CEO of Beadell Resources Limited, an ASX listed gold producer. Simon was President and CEO of Orca Gold from April 2013 to December 2014 and was VP – Corporate Development of Red Back Mining Inc. prior to its takeover by Kinross Gold Corporation in September 2010 for $9.2 billion.
Simon specializes in M&A, public equity markets management and corporate finance. His career has included corporate transactions in Canada, Australia, Africa and Indonesia and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Sarah is a Corporate Advisor with Evolution Corporate Services Pty Ltd and has over 8 years’ experience in company secretarial, corporate advisory and corporate governance roles which have included the provision of company secretarial services to resource companies, managing equity transactions, IPOs and RTOs, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures and due diligence investigations for boards of ASX listed and unlisted companies.
David has over 30 years’ experience in the resource industry including specific experience in the Kalahari Copper Belt.
David’s project experience ranges from grass roots exploration to feasibility studies for open pit and underground operations.
